Since I can remember I loved being outside surrounded by plants, flowers and trees. Digging my hands in the soil and tasting bites of various flora are many of my first memories. As I got older I always had radiant houseplants and beautiful gardens yet I overlooked this gift and focused on the societal expectations of my role in this world. I completed a business degree and worked as a real estate broker to support my family. While I loved some aspects of the career I was disheartened by others. I enjoyed serving my community but felt like I was meant to help people on a deeper level. I felt a lack of nourishment and excitement in my career, I intently searched for deeper meaning and fulfillment. I didn't know what I was missing, but I felt a calling to expand, to serve and to discover my greater purpose.
I found my Dharma (soul purpose) later in life, when many of us do. The calling inside to expand becomes greater than our fears of change and eventually we must answer.
During the curse of covid I was gifted a chance to slow down and be with my children, my home and my garden. It was then that I began to see myself with truth. I witnessed the vibrant garden, textured landscaping, healthy plants indoor and outdoor that were flourishing by my touch. I saw the home cooked plant based meals I made my family, the bright, clean colorful decor that surrounded us. For the first time I gave myself credit for these gifts. I acknowledged that I am a life giver, an Earth Goddess, a Green Witch and caretaker, I am a nurturer and artist. I turned inwards to my wild guidance and discovered that I am a gifted healer. My purpose is to encourage humans to embrace self trust so they too can embody the wild guidance within their hearts. So they can be who they truly are.
I want to help humanity grow and flourish in their wild and diverse natures, just like the flowers and plants that I love. I realized that competition and scarcity come from lack of diversity. It is only when we feel we must all be the same and want the same jobs, lovers, looks, bodies, homes and lives that we crumble under the pressure. The natural world from the universe to the quantum particles in our bodies are exquisitely diverse, doing their own thing in absolute harmony with everything else. There is no competition there is symbiosis. Diversity and specificity. Being who you are with specific intent is the most liberating and wild thing you can be. In the diversity of my gardens I noticed beauty, symbiosis, collective awareness, peace. The plants complimented each other in a natural balance, their differences the key to a thriving ecosystem. My soul was brought back to those experiences with plants as a young child and I was reminded of my Dharma.
